Jennifer LaBella is a Winnipeg artist painting in watercolor and oil. Her inspiration comes from our natural world, here in Manitoba and as far away as East Africa. As well, she has a life-long interest in horses. Visits to Churchill, Manitoba inspired her to write and illustrate her first children’s picture book: A Polar Bear Night of Stars and Light, which won a silver medal in the 2009 Independent Publisher’s Book Awards.

     As well as pursuing a career as an artist, Jennifer is a professional landscape designer, with a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and many years of residential design experience.

     Jennifer LaBella is a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists and the Assiniboia Group of Artists Cooperative.
