Rudy Gruenke, a pointilism artist, taught himself the techniques in the late 70s and continues to enjoy using it. His portfolio includes scenic depictions, wild life, floral pieces and images of heritage buildings. This variety demonstrates that pointilism can be used to achieve almost any kind of picture.

     He says, "If, when gazing at my work, you get the feeling you are seeing a black and white photo, I have achieved my goal in offering you realistic art pictures. You may notice from my gallery that I respect people, nature and animals. I enjoy the beauty of the world around me and like to share that beauty through pointilism."
