Marie-Lourdes Fillion has her roots in both northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

     Raising six children has been a rewarding experience. She is pleased to discover that some of the grandchildren are very artistic.

     Having travelled extensively, images from all these places make their way in subtle nuances. The love of nature is forever present. A sense of observation, coupled with visions of many hidden memories bring forth the inspiration to create and paint in an ever-changing way the beauty of a world so full of incredible wonders.

     She is forever challenged to interpret in an original way, the forests, waters, birds, butterflies and flowers that are intricately connected to a living world in motion. She is compelled to paint, as a writer is to write. She has participated in many exhibitions. Her works are to be found across Canada, the United States and France.
