Being a children's book illustrator for many years, Elena perceives this world as a beautiful fairytale. She sees it in bold, bright colours and truly believes that goodness always wins over evil. With her artwork, she is trying to share her bright fairytale world with others. She hopes it creates a positive attitude, which helps make our lives better.

     Elena is a fine artist focusing on Winnipeg cityscapes and florals. Her favorite mediums - oil and acrylic on canvas.

     Elena studied classic drawing and painting at the college of Fine Arts (Odessa, Ukraine). She graduated with diploma in illustration and graphic design from Academy of Design (Haifa, Israel). Elena has illustrated more than 15 children's books and educational programs for kids, and has worked as a graphic designer for advertising agencies and magazines.

     In 2006 Elena made Winnipeg her home. She fell in love with this city and today she creates her artwork, inspired by the beautiful world around her.
