Alexander El graduated from the Art School of Russian Academy
of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, studied at the University of Manitoba's School of
Art, has exhibited his works in Russia, Israel and Canada. During his art career
he became interested in painting the human body, still-lifes, landscapes, illustration,
graphic design and even pop-art, however portraiture always remains his major
interest. Alexander teaches workshops based on his twenty years' experience as a
portrait artist and his personal approach to the painting of the human body. He has developed
a unique technique that allows the creation of museum quality portraits and nudes in
only thirty minutes. He operates a portrait studio in "cre8ery" gallery and online.
