Kathleen was fortunate to be allowed to draw and paint on walls as a child. Why stop playing now? She is comfortable in many mediums – acrylic, oil, encaustic, fabric, glass sculpture and pate de verre. It is the strength and beauty of the People and Prairies that inspires her. Her work expresses an overwhelming interest in time and so mortality. Time of day, time of life, how little or great the time. Watch pieces are embedded in her work.
Educated in Manitoba and Alberta. Her work is represented in Edmonton, Victoria and most importantly at home in Manitoba.
