I was born and raised in eastern Ontario having gone to school at Queen’s University (BA), University of Toronto (DDS) and the University of Manitoba (MSc). I currently practice and teach Orthodontics in private practice and at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. My two children Kendall and Dylan live within the city.
My work is figurative and narrative, usually depicting one of my humorous life experiences, (except for my ‘Dentist’s Walk through Hell Series’. Between 2011 and 2013 I took a sabbatical to China and travelled substantially gathering ideas for future paintings.
I have exhibited my work at local venues within the city, currently at the Cre8ery Gallery downtown Winnipeg, in Fort Lauderdale and Beijing China. I have published my work in a couple of magazines including the cover of the Canadian Dental Journal. My memberships consists of the Assiniboia Group of Artists Cooperative, Manitoba Society of Artists, Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
